RIDGEFIELD LIBRARY IS A PUBLIC LIBRARY, INCORPORATED IN 1901 AS A PRIVATE 501(C)3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION AND GOVERNED BY A SIXTEEN MEMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE LIBRARY SERVES AS A CULTURAL AND INTELLECTUAL CENTER AND A COMMUNITY GATHERING PLACE FOR EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY. WITH A COLLECTION OF 75,255 ITEMS IT PROVIDES FREE ACCESS TO INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY AS WELL AS PROGRAMMING FOR ALL AGES.
