TO PROVIDE SAFE, TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND CONNECT THEM TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

GRACE HOUSE PROVIDES OVERNIGHT SHELTER AND THREE MEALS PER DAY. GRACE HOUSE ALSO PROVIDES DAY CENTER SERVICES OFFERING CASE MANAGEMENT, REFERRAL AND ONE-ON-ONE ASSISTANCE. OPPORTUNITIES ARE PROVIDED FOR VOLUNTEERING, LEARNING BASIC LIFE SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ASSISTANCE FOR TRANSITIONAL SKILLS. GRACE HOUSE SERVES AS A SITE FOR THOSE NEEDING TO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS AND FOR INDIVIDUALS FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE NEEDING SITES FOR INTERNSHIPS. IN 2023, OVER 80 VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED 4,515 HOURS OF SERVICE. THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERED WITH OTHERS SUCH AS KOOTASCA COMMUNITY ACTION, NORTHLAND COUNSELING CENTER AND THE SALVATION ARMY. IN 2023, 62% OF GUESTS SECURED STABLE HOUSING AND 17% FOUND EMPLOYMENT. IN ADDITION, 142 GUESTS WERE SERVED, PROVIDING THEM WITH 3,030 NIGHTS OF SHELTER, (INCLUDING 233 HOTEL ROOM NIGHTS) AND 5,941 MEALS. THE FACILITY WAS 83% FULL (INCLUDING HOTEL NIGHTS).
