PERFORMANCE STUDIES INTERNATIONAL IS A WORLD-WIDE PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR SCHOLARS AND PRACTITIONERS WORKING IN THE FIELD OF PERFORMANCE, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THEATER, DANCE, MUSIC, POPULAR ENTERTAINMENT, PERFORMANCE ART, CULTURAL STUDIES AND "PERFORMANCE IN EVERYDAY LIFE." PSI SEEKS TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DIALOGUE AMONG ARTISTS, STUDENTS, AND ACADEMICS IN A VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES WHOSE INTERESTS AND CONCERNS CONVERGE IN THE CONTESTED AND STILL-EVOLVING AREAS OF LIVE ART AND PERFORMANCE.PSI HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN REQUIRED TO FILE FORM 990EZ SINCE ITS ANNUAL REVENUE WAS MORE THAN $25,000 IN FYE 6-30-12. SUBSTANTIALLY ALL ITS REVENUE IS FROM MEMBER DUES SO IT MEETS THE SCHEDULE A TEST FOR ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED IN SECTIONS 170(B)(1)(A)(IV) AND 170(B)(1)(A)(VI).
