THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A COOPERATIVE ADVERTISING PROGRAM IN WHICH ABOUT 30% OF ITS MEMBERS PARTICIPATE. WE HAVE PLACEMENTS IN PUBLICATIONS ACROSS THE SERVICE AREA OF THE MEMBERS.THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A COOPERATIVE TRADE SHOW PROGRAM, WHICH DISPLAYS THE NEW YORK STATE TOURISM PRODUCT THROUGH AN EXHIBIT BOOTH AND BROCHURE DISTRIBUTION THROUGH THE SERVICE AREA. THIS INCLUDES PARTICIPATION WITH I LOVE NY, NYS PARKS, AND NYS CANAL AUTHORITY IN APPROPRIATE MARKETS.THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AS A PRESENTER OF THE EMPIRE STATE TOURISM CONFERENCE AND THROUGH ITS ANNUAL MEETING. GUEST SPEAKERS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, PRESENTATIONS, DISPLAYS, AND NETWORKING ARE PROVIDED TO THE MEMBERS.THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AND HAS EVENTS WHICH RAISE REVENUES TO AWARD TO TRAVEL AND TOURISM RELATED STUDENTS AND PROGRAMS IN NEW YORK STATE.
