TO SUPPORT NYSARC,INC. ULSTER-GREENE PUTNAM COUNTIES CHAPTER, BY INCREASING COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND RAISING FUNDS THROUGH DONATIONS AND LONG TERM INVESTMENTS.

WITH THE CONTINUED RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID-19, THE ARC MID-HUDSON FOUNDATION HAD TO ADJUST SOME EVENTS THIS YEAR. WE HELD FOUR OUT OF FIVE OF OUR ANTICIPATED ANNUAL EVENTS. THE WINE & DINE EVENT WAS HELD IN MAY 2021 AND WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL. APPROXIMATELY 72 ATTENDEES ATTENDED THE EVENT AT FRANK GUIDO'S LITTLE ITALY IN KINGTON, NY. ALONG WITH THE LIVE AUCTION, THERE WAS MONEY RAISED DESIGNATED TO THE O+ MURAL THAT WAS PAINTED ON PECORA DAY-HAB BUILDING. IN JULY 2021, WE HELD OUR HUMANITARIAN BRUNCH AT OLE' SAVANNAH IN KINGSTON. DUE TO COVID, THE BRUNCH WAS OUTSIDE UNDER A TENT AND SEATING WAS LIMITED. WE SUCCESSFULLY HAD 141 ATTENDEES, AND WE HONORED 5 RECIPIENTS. IN SEPTEMBER 2021, THE ANNUAL FALL GOLF TOURNAMENT EVENT TOOK PLACE AT WILTWYCK IN KINGSTON, NY. THERE WERE SOME ADJUSTMENTS THAT NEEDED TO BE MADE TO FOLLOW GUIDELINES. ALL OF THE USUAL AMENITIES WERE AVAILABLE TO PLAYERS, HOWEVER THERE WAS NO AWARDS CEREMONY. PLAYERS WERE STILL ABLE TO ENJOY A DINNER SERVED BY THE STAFF AT STAGGERED TIMES. ALL OF THE HOLES ON THE GOLF COURSE HAD A THEME AND VOLUNTEERS HAD MASKS AVAILABLE AND GLOVES WERE WORN BY VOLUNTEERS TOUCHING FOOD. THE TOURNAMENT WAS SOLD OUT WITH 119 GOLFERS. THE FINAL EVENT OF THE YEAR IS THE HOLIDAY AUCTION THAT IS HELD IN NOVEMBER 2021. THIS IS TYPICALLY AN IN-PERSON EVENT AT A LOCAL VENUE. WE CONTINUED TO HAVE THE EVENT VIRTUAL DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS LIKE WE DID IN 2020. PEOPLE WERE ABLE TO PLACE BIDS ON ITEMS ONE WEEK AHEAD OF A LIVE PRESENTATION ON FACEBOOK AND OUR WEBSITE. A SILENT AUCTION, PREMIUM SILENT AUCTION, WINE PULL, AND RAFFLE TICKETS WERE ALL AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC ON THE WEBSITE.
