IS A PRIVATE NON-PROFIT OFFERING SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME AND DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WORKING TO ASSIST PEOPLE TO REACH SELF-SUFFICIENCY. SERVICES INCLUDE - DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE, FOOD PANTRY, TRANSPORTATION, WHEELS FOR WORK AND HOMELESS ASSISTANCE.

THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM OFFERS ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE VICTIMS OF SUCH. SERVICES TO FAMILIES INCLUDE FOOD, SHELTER, CONSULTATION, SUPPORT AND REFERRALS. THE AGENCY MAINTAINS SHELTERS IN BOTH COLUMBIA AND GREENE COUNTIES TO PROTECT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FROM ABUSIVE MEMBERS.
THE COMMUNITY SERVICE BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) PROVIDES FUNDING TO AGENCIES TO ALLOW THEM TO MAINTAIN OPERATIONS AND GIVE THEM THE SUPPORT SYSTEM TO OFFER NUMEROUS OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
THE ENERGY PROGRAMS OFFER INSULATING AND WEATHERIZATION SERVICES TO BOTH HOMEOWNERS AND RENTERS. PARTICIPANTS MUST MEET INCOME ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. APPROXIMATELY 44 UNITS ARE SERVICED EACH YEAR.
