HARLEM ACADEMY WAS FOUNDED IN 2004 WITH A MISSION TO SUPPORT GIFTED, LOW-INCOME CHILDREN WHOSE POTENTIAL MIGHT OTHER WISE GO UNREALIZED. THE FOUNDATION CURRENTLY FUNDS TWO SCHOLARSHIPS AND HAS BEEN SUPPORTING HARLEM ACADEMY FOR SIXTEEN YEARS.
THE EAST HARLEM SCHOOL AT EXODUS HOUSE IS A YEAR-ROUND MIDDLE SCHOOL THAT TEACHES CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN EAST HARLEM TO DEVELOP ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, MORAL INTEGRITY, COURTESY, AND AN UNSHAKABLE COMMITMENT TO THEIR FUTURE AND THE FATE OF THEIR COMMUNITY.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA ENABLE ALL YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST, TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS PRODUCTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS.
