OUR MISSION IS TO ADVANCE EXCELLENCE IN HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH THROUGH PHILANTHROPY. OUR FOUNDATION'S FUNDS ARE USED FOR PROJECTS THAT IMPROVE HEALTH CARE, BUT ARE NOT A PART OF THE GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET OF FRANK R HOWARD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, WHICH IS A HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATION THAT THE FOUNDATION ROUTINELY SUPPORTS THROUGH CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS, ETC. GIFTS TO HOWARD COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION, INC, ARE USED TO -CONSTRUCT AND UPGRADE FACILITIES, WHICH NO DOUBT HAVE AN ECONOMIC IMPACT ON OUR REGION, -PURCHASE PATIENT CARE EQUIPMENT, -ENHANCE PATIENT-RELATED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, -PROVIDE EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF OUR REGION'S CITIZENS. -PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO OUTSTANDING STUDENTS EMBARKING ON CAREERS IN HEALTHCARE, -SUPPORT MEDICAL RESEARCH, AND BUILD ENDOWMENT TO ASSURE, IN PERPETUITY, THAT HEALTHCARE IN OUR COMMUNITY AND REGION MEETS THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF CARE AND SERVICE.
