TO OPERATE A SUMMER CAMP, WHICH BENEFITS AND EDUCATES CHILDREN OF ALL MEANS, NEEDS AND BACKGROUNDS, FREE OF ANY CHARGES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES CHILDREN WITH AN ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES ATHLETIC, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE UNDER GRAD PROGRAM (4X4 PROGRAM)IS DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN ENTERING GRADES 5 - 8. THE CHILDREN IN THIS PROGRAM ATTEND CAMP FOR FOUR WEEKS, FOR FOUR CONSECUTIVE YEARS. THE PROGRAM HAS A STRONG LITERACY AND EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT.
POST GRAD PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE 4X4 PROGRAM, FINISHING GRADES 8-12. THERE IS A STRONG LIFE SKILL DEVELOPMENT THEME. THE POST GRAD PROGRAM VARIES IN LENGTH (A MINIMUM OF FOUR WEEKS) AND INCLUDE BOTH TRAVEL AND LEADER IN TRAINING DEVELOPMENT.
