CREATED THE GREEN SCHOOLS ALLIANCE PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM IS BUILDING AN ALLIANCE OF K-12 SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE USA TO IMPLEMENT GREEN BUILDING SOLUTIONS AND REDUCE THEIR CARBON FOOTPRINT. THE ALLIANCE INCLUDES THE NATIONAL SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION (NSBA), THE PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA), THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS (NAIF), THE US ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA), THE CLINTON CLIMATE INITIATIVE (CCI), AND OTHER SCHOOL ASSOCIATIONS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND ENVIRONMENTAL NONGOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS.
