THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPS RESOURCES TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO SENIORS IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK.

IN 2022, THE WESTCHESTER PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP FOR AGING SERVICES' WERE DELIVERED BOTH IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY AS THE PANDEMIC BEGAN TO EBB. MANY OF THE SENIOR LAW DAY EVENTS WERE HELD IN PERSON, ALONG WITH THE LIVABLE COMMUNITIES VILLAGE FAIR. LIVABLE COMMUNITIES COLLABORATIVES CONTINUED TO MEET VIRTUALLY AS A MATTER OF CONVENIENCE. HOWEVER, CLASSIC TELEHEALTH INTERVENTION PROGRAMS FOR SENIORS SITE BEGAN TO GRADUALLY OPEN. THE WPPP WERE AWARDED NOTEWORTHY GRANTS FOR THE TELEHEALTH PROGRAM, INCLUDING COMMUNITY PROJECT GRANT FROM CONGRESSMAN JAMAAL BOWMAN'S OFFICE AND AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN GRANT FROM THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. PROGRAMS THAT WERE BEGUN DURING THE PANDEMIC CONTINUED, SINCE THEY PROVED TO BE APPRECIATED AND NEEDED BY THE PARTICIPANTS. USING A HYBRID METHOD OF OFFERING ACTIVITIES FOR SENIORS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS INCREASED THE WESTCHESTER PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP FOR AGING SERVICES' PUBLIC OUTREACH.
