LEADERSHIP NEW YORK:LEADERSHIP NEW YORK CHALLENGES 50 MID-CAREER PROFESSIONALS EACH YEAR FROM ACROSS NON-PROFIT, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS TO EXPLORE CRITICAL ISSUES FACING NEW YORK CITY AND DEVELOP NEW WAYS TO LEAD CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS.
CORO FELLOWS: THE CORO FELLOWS PROGRAM IS A NINE-MONTH, FULL-TIME, LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM THAT PREPARES DIVERSE, TALENTED, AND COMMITTED INDIVIDUALS FOR EFFECTIVE AND ETHICAL LEADERSHIP IN THE PUBLIC ARENA. 12 FELLOWS ARE SELECTED FROM A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE POOL OF APPLICANTS, WHO ARE COMMITTED TO BRINGING ABOUT CHANGE IN NEW YORK CITY. UNCONVENTIONAL BY TRADITIONAL ACADEMIC STANDARDS, THE CORO FELLOWS PROGRAM IN PUBLIC AFFAIRS IS RIGOROUS AND DEMANDING, COMBINING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, INTERACTIONS WITH PRIVATE, PUBLIC, AND NON-PROFIT DECISION-MAKERS, AND DEVELOPMENT IN ANALYTICAL, GROUP GOVERNANCE, AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
