SISTER-NOMIC$ - FOCUSES ON FINANCIAL LITERACY, FAMILY WEALTH BUILDING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP. THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES COMPREHENSIVE WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS THAT PROMOTE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY.
KEEPING IT 100 WITH CODE - PROVIDES SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT IN LOW INCOME AND MINORITY AREAS, MAXIMIZING OPPORTUNITIES TO BUILD ESSENTIAL SKILLS THROUGH MENTORSHIP MODULES. THIS PROGRAM WILL ACTIVATE THE ORGANIZATION'S VAST AND DEDICATED CONSTITUENCY TO EXPANDPROGRAM OFFERINGS THROUGH THE NATIONAL PARTNER NETWORK TO EDUCATE AND INSPIRE BLACK WOMEN AND GIRLS IN THE AREAS OF HEALTH, WELLNESS, LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT.
PUBLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES - NCBW'S HEALTH AND WELLNESS PRIORITIES ARE TO 1) RAISE AWARENESS OF HEALTH DISPARITIES AND SOLUTIONS; AND 2) PROVIDE ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE AND WELLNESS INFORMATION THAT PROMOTES BEHAVIORAL CHANGES RESULTING IN A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES.
