YOUTH AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS:THE ORGANIZATION SERVES THE COMMUNITY AND ITS YOUTH THROUGH VARIOUS FAMILY SERVICES INCLUDING DRUG PREVENTION PROGRAMS, AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, SUMMER CAMPS, NIGHT CENTERS, AND COMMUNITY CENTERS.
SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM, FUNDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF YOUTH AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, IS A SIX WEEK JOB PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS YOUTH TO GAIN ENTRY-LEVEL JOB EXPERIENCE FOR GAINING LEVERAGE IN THE WORKFORCE.
WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT PROGRAMS (WIOA):IN-SCHOOL YOUTH AND OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH WIOA PROGRAMS PROVIDE YOUTH WITH TRAINING, EDUCATION GUIDANCE, WORK READINESS SKILLS AND DEVELOPMENT, INTERNSHIPS, AND JOBS UPON PROGRAM COMPLETION.
