NURTURE A SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT - RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES RECOGNISE THE DYNAMIC INTER-RELATIONSHIP AND DEPENDENCY BETWEEN ALL FORMS OF LIFE, WHICH HAS ALSO BEEN SUBSTANTIATED BY MODERN SCIENCE. RELIGIONS FOR PEACE WORKS TO ENSURE THAT MULTI-RELIGIOUS COLLABORATION IS GEARED TOWARDS NURTURING A SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL LIVING SPECIES. THIS WORK INCLUDES WORKING TO PROTECT AND RESTORE THE PLANET'S VITAL ECOSYSTEM, E.G. THE INTERFAITH RAINFOREST INITIATIVE THAT PROTECTS THE WORLD'S REMAINING RAINFORESTS AND THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES WHO SERVE AS THEIR GUARDIAN.
