MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS - ASTA HOLDS AN ASTA GLOBAL CONVENTION ANNUALMEETING AND TRADE SHOW WHICH OFFERS EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR ALL SELLERSOF TRAVEL. THE TRADE SHOW PROVIDES NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALLSELLERS OF TRAVEL AND THE TRAVEL SUPPLIERS. THE MEETING DRAWSAPPROXIMATELY 1,000 ATTENDEES. AS USUAL IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION HELD PREMIUM BUSINESS SUMMIT AND A LEGISLATIVE DAY.
TRAVEL INDUSTRY SUPPORT - ASTA PROVIDES TRAVEL ADVISORS WITH VITALINFORMATION NEEDED TO MANAGE THEIR BUSINESS. DESTINATION EDUCATION - ASTA PROVIDES INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION TRAINING TO HELP TRAVEL ADVISORS ATTRACT BUSINESS AND INCREASE SALES. THESE COURSES ARE OFFERED AT VARIOUS EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, INCLUDING ASTA'S DESTINATION EXPO. COURSES HIGHLIGHTING SPECIFIC REGIONS ARE BROUGHT TOGETHER AT AN ANNUAL MEETING WITHIN THAT REGION. THE COURSES DRAW ANYWHERE FROM 50 TO 500 PARTICIPANTS A YEAR.
