GUNNISON TRAILS IS A NON-PROFIT TRAIL ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO ASSIST LAND MANAGERS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN MAINTAINING EXISTING TRAILS, EDUCATING USERS ON RESPONSIBLE TRAIL-BASED RECREATION, AND PURSUING OPPORTUNITIES FOR BIKING, RUNNING AND HIKING WHICH PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE TRAIL USE THROUGHOUT GUNNISON COUNTY.

TRAIL BUILDING: BUILT NEW TRAILS AND MAINTAINED AND IMPROVED EXISTING TRAILS ON BLM, USFS AND GUNNISON COUNTY LANDS.


GROWLER: PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH TRAIL RIDING OPPORTUNITIES ON CHALLENGING TRAILS. VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE TRAIL SERVICES, TRAIL EDUCATION, EMERGENCY SERVICES AND RIDING EDUCATION.


SIGNAL PEAK: PLANNED AND SUPERVISED EMPLOYEES BUILDING 3.5 MILES OF NEW TRAILS IN THE SIGNAL PEAK AREA.
