(LIACC) AND THERESEARCH FOUNDATION OF SUNY AT STONY BROOK. THE BUILDING WAS SOLD ON 2/28/2020.IN 2015, THE WOMEN INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM (WIC), A PROGRAM THAT IS OPERATEDTHROUGH STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER HAD RENEWED ITS LEASE AGREEMENT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 5 YEARS TO UTILIZE SPACE IN THE LINCS BUILDING. THE WIC PROGRAM PROVIDED LOW-INCOME PREGNANT AND NURSING WOMEN, INFANTS UP TO 1 YEAR OLD ANDCHILDREN UP TO 5 YEARS OLD WHO ARE CONSIDERED TO BE NUTITIONALLY AT RISK WITHSUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITIONALLY SOUND FOOD IN ADDITION TO NUTRITION EDUCATION ANDCOUNSELING AS WELL AS REFERRALS TO OTHER SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS.
