IN THE STATE OF CT WHO ARE ENGAGED IN THE PRACTICE OF, OR ARE OTHERWISE INTERESTED IN THE MEDICAL SPECIALTY OF ANESTHESIOLOGY. THE SOCIETY HOLDS QUARTERLY DINNER MEETINGS FOR ITS MEMBERS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR DISSEMINATING INFORMATION IN REGARD TO ANESTHESIOLOGY AND TO RAISE THE STANDARDS OF THE SPECIALTY BY FOSTERING AND ENCOURAGING RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC PROGRESS IN ANESTHESIOLOGY. DURING 2021, AS A RESULT OF THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, MEETINGS WERE HELD VIA ZOOM OR VIDEO CONFERENCE.
THE SOCIETY ENGAGED AN OUTSIDE LAW FIRM TO PROTECT IT'S MEMBERS INTEREST IN THE FIELD OF ANESTHESIOLOGY AS WELL AS TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC AGAINST IRRESPONSIBLE PRACTITIONERS OF ANESTHESIOLOGY.
