TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THE INTERCHANGE OF INFORMATION AND IDEAS BETWEEN MEMBERS OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION SPECIALIZING IN DERMATOLOGY, TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF DERMATOLOGISTS IN THE DIAGNOSIS, CARE AND CURE OF SKIN DISEASES, AND TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF PATIENTS FOR QUALITY DERMATOLOGIC CARE IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.

Part 3 - Line 4a
PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES TO MORE THAN 300 PRACTICING DERMATOLOGISTS IN MASSACUSETTS. PROVIDED HIGH-QUALITY CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON BOTH CLINICAL TOPICS AND PRACTICE MANAGEMENT ISSUES. THE 2020 ANNUAL MEETING CONSISTED OF A LINEUP OF DISTINGUISHED GUEST SPEAKERS, INCLUDING NATIONAL LEADERS IN THE FIELD OF DERMATOLOGY. THE SPEAKERS PRESENTED AN ARRAY OF TOPICS OF INTEREST TO OUR MEMBERSHIP. AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS MEETING, ATTENDEES LEARNED HOW TO ADJUST TO THE CHANGING HEALTH CARE ENVIRONMENT, HOW TO RECOGNIZE CHALLENGES SUCH AS NARROWING NETWORKS, AND ASSESS WAYS OF DEALING WITH REDUCED ACCESS TO PHYSICIANS AND MEDICATIONS. ATTENDEES INCREASED THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF NEW TREATMENTS AND PROCEDURES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRACTICE OF COSMETIC DERMATOLOGY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON DERMATOLOGIC ISSUES AND CITE PRACTICES THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY, EASE, AND EFFICIENCY OF COMMON PROCEDURES USED IN GENERAL DERMATOLOGICAL PRACTICE.
