1) MEMBER SERVICES MEMBER SERVICES INCLUDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO CORE MEMBERS, FINANCIALS ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES AND SHARED BACK OFFICE INITIATIVES, SUCH AS INNOVATIVE SHARED CONSERVATION AND COLLECTIONS PROGRAMS, PURCHASING DISCOUNTS, AND VOLUNTEER/INTERNSHIP MATCHING THE CCA DISTRIBUTES NEWSLETTERS AND REGULAR EMAILS ANNOUNCING CORE MEMBER EXHIBITS AND EVENTS ADDITIONAL SERVICES INCLUDE PROMOTION OF CORE MEMBERS THROUGH BROCHURES, PUBLICATIONS, SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE AND VIA OUTREACH EVENTS THE CCA ALSO OFFERS ONLINE FORUMS, RESOURCES, AND CALENDARS. 2) CIVIC ENGAGEMENT CCA'S ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMMING OFFERS CORE MEMBER PARTNER INSTITUTIONS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE IN CONTEMPORARY ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO CHICAGO'S ETHNIC COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING INCLUDES A SERIES OF CROSS-CULTURAL FACILITATED DIALOGUES, GROUP TOUR OFFERINGS, AND CROSS-CULTURAL PANEL PRESENTATIONS AND EXHIBITIONS TOPICS COVERED INCLUDE IMMIGRATION, ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, YOUTH AND IDENTITY, AND HEALTH CARE ALL CIVIC ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS INCLUDE A PUBLIC AND TRAINING COMPONENT THAT IS DESIGNED TO BUILD THE SKILLS AND PROGRAMS OF CORE MEMBERS. 3) CAPACITY BUILDING THE CCA RUNS THREE COMPREHENSIVE SERIES "ACTIVATING HERITAGE" IS A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP SERIES THAT INCLUDES A CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOPS ABOUT THE BEST PRACTICES IN NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT "CONSERVATION AND COLLECTIONS" IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES ACCESS TO COLLECTIONS CONSULTANTS "SHARED COLLECTIONS ASSISTANT" ASSISTS IN THE SUBSIDIZED PURCHASING OF COLLECTIONS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE AND A SERIES OF WORKSHOPS ON BEST CONSERVATION TECHNIQUES AND POLICIES
