TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT AND PRESERVATION OF QUALITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING, TO ENABLE RESIDENTS OF THAT HOUSING TO USE IT AS A PLATFORM TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES, INCLUDING THROUGH THE COORDINATION OF RESIDENT SERVICES, TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, AND TO PROMOTE THE ROLE OF NONPROFIT ENTITIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND PRESERVATION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN THE UNITED STATES. IN AID OF ITS MISSION, SAHF IS WORKING TO PROMOTE RESIDENT-CENTERED SYSTEMS APPROACHES TO DELIVERING SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF AFFRODABLE HOUSING PROGRAMS AND HAS CREATED AND OPERATES THE CERTIFIED ORGANIZATION FOR RESIDENT ENGAGEMENT AND SERVICES PROGRAM TO PROVIDE A COMMON STANDARD AND RESOURCE FOR OWNERS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, FINANCIAL AND PHILANTHROPIC PARTNERS IN SEEKING TO SUPPORT HOUSING WITH SERVICES.
