LAW ENFORCEMENT OUTREACH - TRAINING/SUPPORT - ATTEND LOCAL, STATE & NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MEETINGS TO SHARE OUR BEST PRACTICES AND MODEL ORDINANCES TO HELP THEM MANAGE ALARM OPERATIONS. ALSO ATTEND COUNCIL MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS SUPPORTING CHIEFS AND SHERIFFS BY ANSWERING QUESTIONS AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE. AS A RESULT HUNDREDS OF ORDINANCES GET MODIFIED EACH YEAR BASED ON OUR RECOMMENDATIONS.
ALARM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE FACILITATION - ATTEND STATE CHIEFS OF POLICE ASSOCIATION MEETINGS TO HELP SET-UP, MANAGE OR FACILLITATE ALARM COMMITTEES MADE UP OF CHIEFS AND LOCAL/STATE ALARM DEALERS TO HELP THEM COMMUNICATE BETTER AND SELF-REGULATE (MANAGE) ALARM ISSUES. NOW HAVE 22 STATE CHIEFS COMMITTEES IN PLACE. ONCE FORMED WE CONTINUE TO SERVICE THESE COMMITTEES AND RECOMMEND JOINT ORDINANCES TO ALL OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE STATE.
