KEEP ROCKLAND BEAUTIFUL (KRB) LEADS EFFORTS TO CLEAN, PROTECT, AND BEAUTIFY ROCKLANDS ENVIRONMENT BY EDUCATING AND EMPOWERING PEOPLE TO SHARE IN THE CARE AND STEWARDSHIP OF OUR COMMUNITIES. KRB HAS BEEN ENGAGING VOLUNTEERS OF ALL AGES THROUGHOUT ROCKLAND AND WORKING WITH PARTNERS ACROSS ALL SECTORS IN THE COUNTY FOR 26 YEARS. KRBS GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP AND FALL CLEANUP CAMPAIGNS MAKE A VISIBLE AND VALUABLE DIFFERENCE IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTY. IN ADDITION TO REMOVING TONS OF HARMFUL DEBRIS, THEY FOSTER LIFE-LONG STEWARDSHIP AND BUILD COMMUNITY CARE AND ENGAGEMENT. KRBS SUSTAINABILITY CENTER PROVIDES HELPFUL ENVIRONMENTAL AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES, WHILE FACILITATING COMMUNITY BUILDING AND COLLABORATION.

KEEP ROCKLAND BEAUTIFUL (KRB) LEADS EFFORTS TO CLEAN, PROTECT, AND BEAUTIFY ROCKLANDS ENVIRONMENT BY EDUCATING AND EMPOWERING PEOPLE TO SHARE IN THE CARE AND STEWARDSHIP OF OUR COMMUNITIES. KRB IS A HIGHLY RESPECTED ORGANIZATION THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDING HANDS-ON ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND ENGAGING VOLUNTEERS THROUGHOUT ROCKLAND FOR 26 YEARS. KRB GREW OUT OF A COUNTY BEAUTIFICATION COMMISSION. IT WAS ESTABLISHED AS A 501C3 AND AN AFFILIATE OF KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL IN 1997. KRB HAS SINCE EVOLVED INTO A LEADING PROVIDER OF POWERFUL PROGRAMMING TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND CARE FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLNESS. KRBS SPRING GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP AND FALL CLEANUP CAMPAIGNS MAKE A VISIBLE AND VALUABLE DIFFERENCE IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTY. OUR EARTH BEAT PROGRAM ENGAGES STUDENTS K-8 IN INTERACTIVE ECO-STATIONS, AND ROCKLAND PLUS IS A COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIP WITH COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY LAMONT-DOHERTY EARTH OBSERVATORY, ROCKLAND CONSERVATION AND SERVICE CORPS, AND THE ROCKLAND COUNTY SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, WHICH ENGAGES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SUSTAINABLE LAND USE PLANNING. KRBS SUCCESS CAN BE SEEN IN THE MEASURABLE, AND IMMEASURABLE, IMPACT MADE ACROSS THE COUNTY, AND IN THE FORMAL RECOGNITION THAT KRB RECEIVES FOR ITS WORK.
