THE BROOKFIELD CRAFT CENTER MISSION IS TO PRESERVE THE SKILLS OF CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP AND PROMOTE CREATIVITY AND PERSONAL GROWTH THROUGH TEACHING. BCC WILL PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY CRAFTS REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY THROUGH EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN OUR STUDIOS PROVIDE INCOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS THROUGH SALES IN OUR GALLERY SHOP AND CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH EXHIBITIONS LECTURES AND STUDIO TIME.

WE PROVIDE CLASSES IN MANY CRAFTS IN OUR EIGHT STUDIOS. THESE INCLUDE GLASS ARTS WOODTURNING FIBER ARTS JEWELRY MAKING PAINTING & DRAWING CLAY DIGITAL SKILLS IN OUR CENTER FOR MODERN CRAFT BLACKSMITH AND BLADESMITHING IN OUR FORGE.
OUR RETAIL GALLERY PROVIDES A VENUE FOR ARTISTS TO SELL THEIR WORK WITH REVENUES GOING TO THE ARTIST AND TO SUBSIDIZE THE CRAFT CENTER OPERATIONS. THE GALLERY ALSO HOSTS SEVERAL EXHIBITIONS EACH YEAR HIGHLIGHTING THE WORK OF LOCAL AND NATIONAL ARTISTS AS WELL AS HOSTING AN EXHIBITION FOR LOCAL AREA STUDENTS.
