THE SALVADORI CENTER, WHICH PROVIDES DIRECT SERVICES TO STUDENTS THROUGH IN-SCHOOL, AFTER-SCHOOL, AND SUMMER MULTI-DAY PROGRAMS, CELEBRATES A COLLABORATIVE, HANDS-ON, PROJECT-BASED APPROACH TO LEARNING THROUGH THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT ~ BUILDINGS, BRIDGES, PARKS, AND COMMUNITIES. DESPITE LAST YEAR (THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR) BEING DISRUPTED BY COVID-19, WE STILL MANAGED TO DELIVER PROGRAMS IN 278 CLASSES WITH 8,082 STUDENTS THROUGH 90,000 STUDENT IMPACT HOURS IN 2,863 SESSIONS. IN THE 2018/2019 ACADEMIC YEAR (BEFORE THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC), WE DELIVERED PROGRAMS IN 295 CLASSES WITH 8,519 STUDENTS THROUGH 96,302 STUDENT IMPACT HOURS IN 3,756 SESSIONS. THAT IS A 304% INCREASE OVER THE LAST EIGHT YEARS ~ MORE THAN 4 TIMES AS MANY STUDENTS!
