THE BAND WAS FORMED IN 2002 AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE PURPOSE OFDEVELOPING A QUALITY MUSICAL BAND OPEN TO MEN AND WOMEN THAT ARE GAY, LESBIAN,HETEROSEXUAL, AND ALL OTHER SEXUAL ORIENTATIONS. THROUGH ITS MUSICAL PERFORMANCES,THE BAND MAKES A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL,CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL ENRICHMENT FOR ITS MEMBERS AND AUDIENCES.

THE ORGANIZATION PERFORMS SEVERAL MUSICAL COMPOSITIONS ANNUALLY IN PALM SPRINGS CALIFORNIA.


THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO SUPPORT HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS IN THE COACHELLA VALLEY.


MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL WORKSHOPS - EACH SPRING THE BAND SPONSORS A GUEST COMPOSER OR CONDUCTOR FOR OUR SPRING CONCERT. THE GUEST COMPOSER OR CONDUCTOR WORKS WITH UP TO 6 SCHOOL BANDS IN THE COACHELLA VALLEY TO PROVIDE STUDENTS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY MUSIC BY THE PERSON WHO WROTE IT. THE PROGRAM IS IN IT'S 7TH YEAR NOW AND HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS.
