2021 SUMMER FESTIVAL. THE 2021 MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS BACK IN-PERSON AT ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH IN MAMMOTH LAKES AND CONSISTED OF SIX CONCERTS OVER A 2-WEEK PERIOD, JULY 16 - AUGUST 1. SIXTEEN GUEST ARTISTS JOINED THE RESIDENT FELICI PIANO TRIO IN THE PERFORMANCES. 972 TICKETS WERE PURCHASED.
2021/22 WINTER CONCERT SERIES. COVID RESTRICTIONS WERE IN PLACE FOR THE WINTER SERIES AT CERRO COSO COLLEGE, WITH PROOF OF VACCINE AND MASKS REQUIRED. THE RESIDENT FELICI PIANO TRIO AND 4 GUESTS PRESENTED 10 CONCERTS FROM SEPTEMBER 2021 TO APRIL 2022. 409 TICKETS WERE PURCHASED.
2021/22 IN-SCHOOL MUSIC PRESENTATIONS. THE CMU ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE PRESENTED EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS FOR THE VARIOUS ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES OF MONO AND INYO COUNTIES. THE PROGRAMS COVER A WIDE ARRAY OF TOPICS, FROM COMPOSER PORTRAITS TO LINKING CLASSICAL MUSIC TO EXPERIENCES IN CHILDREN'S LIVES, LIKE SPORTS, MOVEMENT, DANCE, STORIES AND STORYTELLING.
2021/22 AFTER-SCHOOL GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL MUSIC LESSONS. THE CMU ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP INSTRUMENTAL INSTRUCTION, COACH CHAMBER ENSEMBLES AND DIRECT YOUTH CHAMBER ORCHESTRAS. IN ORDER TO KEEP GROUP PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO ALL STUDENTS, LESSONS ARE PROVIDED AT REDUCED RATES AND INSTRUMENTS ARE LOANED OUT TO STUDENTS DEPENDING ON THEIR NEED. 20 STUDENTS TOOK INDIVIDUAL LESSONS AND A TOTAL OF 104 STUDENTS WERE INVOLVED IN THE 5 GROUP LESSONS PROGRAMS.
