THE MISSION OF PEACE VILLAGE PROJECTS TO DEVELOP SHARE BOTH FORMAL AND NON-FORMAL MEANS OF ENCOURAGING THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF PEACE, THE HABITS OF PEACE AND THE SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE THAT SUPPORTS PEACE. WE DO THIS BY DRAWING ON THE OLDEST AND NEWEST SOURCES OF WISDOM, FROM CHEROKEE AND BUDDHIST TEACHINGS, TO THE WORLDVIEW OF QUANTUM PHYSICS AND THE GROWING CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE ON CONFLICT RESOLUTION. OVER THE YEARS PEACE VILLAGE PROJECTS HAS DEVELOPED CURRICULA FOR BOTH ELEMENTARY (PEACE VILLAGE CLASSROOM) AND MIDDLE SCHOOL (SHAPING A BETTER WORLD) GRADES. WE HAVE WORKED WITH ISRAELIS AND PALESTINIANS IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ISRAEL/PALESTINE CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND INFORMATION (IPCRI) AND THE INSTITUTE FOR MULTI-TRACK DIPLOMACY. OUR CURRENT WORK IS FOCUSED ON THE INTER-RELATIONSHIP OF HUMAN AND PLANETARY WELL-BEING.
