THE AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION, LED BY VOLUNTEERS, HOLDS AN ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM, A CHIEF OF STAFF DINNER, AND A GOLF TOURNAMENT. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO HOSTS A NUMBER OF FREE HOLIDAY EVENTS TO GIVE BACK TO VETERANS IN NEED. THESE ACTIVITIES ENABLE AFA TO PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATIONS'S MISSION OF EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF AEROSPACE POWER IN THE DEFENSE OF OUR NATION AS WELL AS SUPPORTING THE U.S. AIR FORCE, THE AIR FORCE FAMILIES AND TO PROMOTE AEROSPACE EDUCATION.
