THROUGH PDFS COMMUNITY ORGANIZING GRANTS PROGRAMS, WE MAKE GRANTS TO US COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS WORKING ON ISSUES OF SOCIAL JUSTICE, INCLUDING ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE, ECONOMIC JUSTICE, PEACE, HUMAN HEALTH & WELFARE, OFTEN IN AREAS OF THE COUNTRY WHERE THERE ARE FEW GRANTMAKING RESOURCES SUCH AS IOWA, SOUTH DAKOTA, LOUISIANA OR THE SOUTHWEST. PDFS COMMUNITY ADVISED, DESIGNATED GRANTS AND DONOR ADVISED FUNDS BRING DONORS, GRASSROOTS ORGANIZERS AND FUNDERS TOGETHER FOR GRANTMAKING AND COMMUNITY BUILDING, STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS SECTORS OF THE SOCIAL JUSTICE MOVEMENTS.
