THE MISSION OF HILLEL COUNCIL OF NEW ENGLAND (HCNE) IS TO CONNECT JEWISH STUDENTS ON CAMPUSES ACROSS NEW ENGLAND TO EACH OTHER AND TO THE LOCAL AND GLOBAL JEWISH COMMUNITY. OUR VISION IS TO INSPIRE STUDENTS TO EXPLORE THEIR JEWISH IDENTITY AND STRENGTHEN THEIR CONNECTION TO JUDAISM AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE. WE ACHIEVE THIS BY MEETING STUDENTS WHERE THEY ARE ON THEIR INDIVIDUAL JOURNEYS, AND BY PROVIDING THEM WITH MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES AND SUPPORT ON CAMPUS, IN NEW ENGLAND, AND AROUND THE WORLD.

ONWARD ISRAEL IS A TWO MONTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN ISRAEL, WITH OPTIONS IN THREE CITIES: HAIFA, TEL AVIV, AND JERUSALEM. STUDENTS FROM INSTITUTIONS ACROSS NEW ENGLAND PARTICIPATE IN INTERNSHIPS IN THEIR FIELD WHILE LIVING TOGETHER AND TOURING AROUND THE COUNTRY.
PROVIDE FISCAL SUPPORT SERVICES AND GUIDANCE TO LARGE BOSTON-AREA HILLEL FOUNDATIONS. SERVICES RANGE FROM BUDGETING, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGEMENT, PAYROLL, AND ADMINISTRATION OF GROUP MEDICAL AND DENTAL PLANS.
PROVIDE RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, AND CULTURAL SERVICES AT SIMMONS UNIVERSITY, EMERSON COLLEGE, BOSTON COLLEGE, AND SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY, TOGETHER WITH REGIONAL PROGRAMMING THAT BRINGS TOGETHER STUDENTS FROM OTHERWISE UNDERSERVED NEW ENGLAND CAMPUSES, THEREBY ENGAGING OVER 600 STUDENTS ACROSS THESE MULTIPLE CAMPUSES.
