THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO ASSIST THE UNDERSERVED PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF BOSTON TO ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN QUALITY HOUSING REGARDLESS OF THEIR INCOME AS WELL AS TO ASSIST WORK WITH AND PROVIDE JOB TRAINING AND OTHER USEFUL TOOLS FOR THOSE UNDERSERVED PEOPLE IN THE BOSTON COMMUNITY. CDC OF BOSTON PRIMARILY WORKS IN THE AREAS OF ROXBURY, DORCHESTER, AND MATTAPAN.

THE ORGANIZATION OWNS A BUILDING AT 465 COLUMBIA ROAD IN DORCHESTER WHICH CONSISTS OF ELEVEN ONE BEDROOM UNITS AND A SMALL OFFICE. ALL THE UNITS ARE LEASED TO THE PINE STREET INN AND THE BUILDING IS MANAGED BY THE PINE STREET INN.
