NATICK VNA IS A NON-PROFIT AGENCY ESTABLISHED IN NOVEMBER, 1914, TO PROVIDE PREMIER HOME HEALTH SERVICES IN THE METROWEST AREA OF BOSTON.

SKILLED NURSING AND HOME CARE AID - SKILLED NURSING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO ANY INDIVIDUAL WITHIN THE NATICK VNA SERVICE AREA. A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) CONDUCTS AN IN-HOME EVALUATION TO ASSESS NEEDS. THE RN CONTACTS PHYSICIANS TO COORDINATE CARE AND DEVELOP A PLAN THAT WILL SUPPORT IN RECOVERY AND ILLNESS OR DISEASE MANAGEMENT SO THAT THE PATIENT CAN REMAIN SAFELY IN THEIR HOME. HE OR SHE HELPS TO DETERMINE IF THE NURSING CARE IS COVERED BY THE PATIENT'S INSURANCE PLAN, AND HELPS TO OBTAIN THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO RECEIVE HEALTH CARE AT HOME.ALL HOME CARE AIDES ARE CERTIFIED THROUGH SPECIAL TRAINING, TESTING, AND SKILLS ASSESSMENT, WHICH ARE MANDATED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AS PART OF MEDICARE/MEDICAID REGULATIONS. IN ADDITION, HOME CARE AIDES COMPLETE A MINIMUM OF 12 HOURS OF IN-SERVICE EDUCATION ANNUALLY. EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 4, 2018, THE V.N.A. DID NOT ADMIT ANY NEW PATIENTS AND CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO EXISTING PATIENTS WITH UNCOMPLETED EPISODES. THE V.N.A. DISCHARGED THEIR LAST PATIENT ON FEBRUARY 2, 2019. IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CONTINUING CARE FOR THE V.N.A.'S PATIENTS, THE V.N.A. ENTERED INTO AN AFFILIATION AGREEMENT ON OCTOBER 25, 2018, WITH NATICK WALPOE V.N.A.
MANAGEMENT SERVICES - PROVIDED SERVICES TO A VNA ASSOCIATION COMPRISED OF NON-PROFIT MEMBERS. AS OF APRIL 1, 2019 THESE SERVICES WERE TRANSERRED TO NATICK WALPOLE NURSE ASSOCIATION INC.(WALPOLE V.N.A).
