THE WGBH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION, BASED IN BOSTON, IS THE LEADING MULTIPLATFORM CREATOR FOR PUBLIC MEDIA IN AMERICA. WITH ITS WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMS, EVENTS AND SERVICES IT IS ONE OF THE NATION'S PREEMINENT PUBLIC MEDIA INSTITUTIONS.AS THE LARGEST PRODUCER OF CONTENT FOR PBS AND PARTNER TO NPR AND PRX, GBH DELIVERS COMPELLING EXPERIENCES, STORIES AND INFORMATION TO AUDIENCES WHEREVER THEY ARE. GBH PRODUCES DIGITAL AND BROADCAST PROGRAMMING THAT ENGAGES, ILLUMINATES AND INSPIRES, THROUGH DRAMA AND SCIENCE, HISTORY, ARTS, CULTURE AND JOURNALISM. IN TOTAL, THE TEAM PRODUCED 325 RESOURCES FEATURING MORE THAN 2,700 ASSETS FOR PBS LEARNING MEDIA.MOLLY OF DENALI HAS A TELEVISION REACH OF MORE THAN 29.3 MILLION VIEWERS AND OVER 4 MILLION USERS AND 400,000 MONTHLY USERS ON PBS KIDS DIGITAL PLATFORMS.2GEN LABS, A GBH EDUCATION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PILOT PROGRAM TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW TO ADDRESS PARENTS EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN ORDER TO BOOST STUDENT LEARNING, MADE SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS. FOCUSING ON IMMIGRANT STUDENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS, THE INITIATIVE USES A PARTICIPATORY DESIGN PROCESS, APPLYING THE FEEDBACK AND EXPERTISE OF FAMILIES AND EDUCATORS FROM TRADITIONALLY UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES TO CREATE INTERACTIVE GRAPHIC NOVELS CENTERED ON CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE SCIENCE PRACTICES.GBHS SCIENCE SERIES NOVA, NOW IN ITS 50TH SEASON, IS A STAPLE IN AMERICAN CLASSROOMS. THIS YEAR NOVAS DOCUMENTARY ULTIMATE SPACE TELESCOPE FOLLOWED THE UPS AND DOWNS OF THE COMPLEX MISSION OF NASAS REVOLUTIONARY JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE, ADDING NEW CONTENT TO A NOVA PREMIERE AS THE TELESCOPE DELIVERED ITS VERY FIRST IMAGES. THE FILM REACHED MORE THAN 2.7 MILLION BROADCAST VIEWERS AND GARNERED 3.4 MILLION VIEWERS ON YOUTUBE. WITH COMPREHENSIVE COVERAGE ACROSS ALL ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS IN THE FIRST THREE DAYS THAT THE TELESCOPE WAS BREAKING NEWS, NOVAS CONTENT EARNED 3.5 MILLION IMPRESSIONS AND 294,000 ENGAGEMENTS. THE NOVA YOUTUBE CHANNEL EARNED OVER 33 MILLION VIDEO VIEWS IN 2022AN INCREASE OF 125% OVER THE PREVIOUS YEAR. ON SOCIAL MEDIA, NOVA EARNED OVER 68 MILLION VIDEO VIEWSUP 93% FROM LAST YEAR, WITH NEARLY 99% COMING CAME FROM FACEBOOK. OUR EXTENSIVE PRESS COVERAGE EARNED OVER 7 BILLION TOTAL IMPRESSIONS.GBH WORLDS AMERICA REFRAMED CELEBRATED 10 YEARS DELIVERING DOCUMENTARY SERIES TO ATTRACT A YOUNGER, MORE DIVERSE AUDIENCE BY SHARING MULTICULTURAL STORIES FROM NEW MAKERS. FANNIE LOU HAMERS AMERICA: AN AMERICA REFRAMED SPECIAL WAS CO-PRODUCED WITH THE SUBJECTS GREAT NIECE AND INNOVATIVE FOR USING ONLY THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS OWN VOICE IN THE NARRATION. IT KICKED OFF THE 10TH SEASON AND WON GBH WORLDS FIRST-EVER IDA DOCUMENTARY AWARD. AMERICA REFRAMED HAS PRESENTED MORE THAN 170 MULTICULTURAL STORIES AND MORE THAN 370 FILMMAKERS (MORE THAN HALF ARE FEMALE AND ONE THIRD ARE PEOPLE OF COLOR) WHO REFLECT THE EVERYDAY WORLD WE SHARE.
