THE MISSION OF MEET THE NEED IS TO ASSIST THE WORKING POOR THROUGH CRISIS SITUATIONS IN LIFE.

MEET THE NEED PROVIDES JOB TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP AS WELL AS A CAFE CALLED OPPORTUNITY CAFE AND COFFEE. WE WANT THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING TO GET A JOB DUE TO POOR LIFE CHOICES IN THE PAST, AGING OUT OF FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, OR OTHER LIFE CHALLENGES THAT HAS CAUSED THEM NOT TO BE ABLE TO WORK TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO OVERCOME, TO BE RESTORED, AND TO THRIVE AGAIN! WE HAD A YOUNG MAN COME OUR WAY IN 2021 WHO FOUND THE CONFIDENCE HE NEEDED TO MOVE ON TO A BETTER PAYING JOB WITH BENEFITS. WE HAVE A GREAT STAFF THAT HAS FOUGHT THROUGH THE PANDEMIC AND HELPED US TO CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY OFFERING GREAT FOOD, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND PRAYER. BASIC NEEDS MET AT THE ASSISTANCE CENTER:325 FAMILIES WHICH INCLUDES 1,030 INDIVIDUALSFOOD PANTRY ASSISTANCE:219 FAMILIES WHICH INCLUDES 3,343 INDIVIDUALSCRISIS CARE PROGRAM:181 FAMILIESBACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM:111 CHILDRENWORK PROGRAM:46 FAMILIESCHRISTMAS PROGRAM:165 FAMILIES, 223 CHILDREN AND TEENS
