THE WATKINS MILL ASSOCIATION WAS FOUNDED IN 1958 TO PROMOTE THE WATKINS WOOLEN MILL STATE HISTORIC SITE AND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PRESERVATION PROJECTS CARRIED OUT BY THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION OF STATE PARKS.
