TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF RURAL AND REMOTE SOUTHEAST HAITI BY IMPROVING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH CENTRE DE SANTE SACRE-COEUR DE THIOTTE (CSST). WE FACILITATE RELATIONSHIPS AMONG ORGANIZATIONS, INDIVIDUALS AND INSTITUTIONS TO PROVIDE HEALTH CARE AND TO HELP DEVELOP LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE AND LARGELY HAITIAN-BASED CARE.

THE MISSION OF CENTRE DE SANT SACR-COEUR DE THIOTTE IS "TO ADDRESS THE IMMEDIATE HEALTH NEEDS OF PEOPLE AND THE UNDERLYING CAUSES OF ILLNESS AND SUFFERING, ENSURING PEACE AND THE RESTORATION OF HUMAN DIGNITY, AS WELL AS PROMOTING AUTONOMY, AND INTEGRAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. IT RESPONDS TO THE NEEDS OF THE DISADVANTAGED AND MARGINALIZED BY USING A NON-PROFIT APPROACH TO ALLEVIATE SUFFERING THROUGH EXPANDED CARE. THIS APPROACH AFFIRMS THAT WE ARE ALL CONNECTED AND THAT INDIVIDUAL WELL-BEING CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED IN A CONTEXT OF SHARED WEALTH, PEACEFUL RELATIONSHIPS AND A THRIVING ENVIRONMENT."THE HAITI MEDICAL MISSION OF WISCONSIN PROVIDES PROGRAM SERVICES SUPPORT WHICH RESULTS IN WAGE SUPPORT FOR DESIGNATED POSITIONS. ANNUAL WAGES FOR THE CSST MEDICAL DIRECTOR, HEAD NURSE AND SUPERVISOR OF COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS, AND DELIVERY STAFF. WAGE SUPPORT ALLOWS CSST TO RETAIN KEY STAFF, OFFERS OVERALL STABILITY FOR THE HEALTHCARE FACILITY, CONTINUITY OF CARE FOR PATIENTS, AND FREES UP OTHER CSST INCOME FOR OTHER NECESSARY EXPENSES. FUNDING AND FACILITATION OF IN-KIND SOURCES FOR MEDICATIONS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT, AND TRAINING. FUNDING FOR POWER GENERATION AND ELECTRICAL & WATER SYSTEMS OPERATIONS, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE.
