HOAG/GMA FOUNDATION (AAPI RACIAL)THIS FUNDING SUPPORTED DAMAYANS WORK TO ADVOCATE FOR UMEMPLOYMENT AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DURING THE PANDEMIC AND TO PREPARE FOR THE OUTREACH AND APPLICATION ASSISTANCE FOR THE EWF. FORD FOUNDATIONWE COMPLETED THE FIRST DRAFT OF THE NEW DAMAYAN EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LAWYERS ALLIANCE IN NEW YORK (LANY). ADDITIONALLY, WE SENT 4 STAFF MEMBERS TO TRAININGS FOR THE DATABASE AND PRODUCED INTERNAL GUIDES FOR DATABASE USE.NEO PHILANTROPHYWITH THIS FUNDING, DAMAYAN CONDUCTED OUTREACH TO TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS AND PUBLIC EDUCATION ON LABOR TRAFFICKING, MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT AND ENGAGEMENT OF TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS, SURVIVORS LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND CONTINUED WORK ON THE BAKLAS BREAK FREE ANTI-LABOR TRAFFICKING CAMPAIGN. NEW YORK FOUNDATIONWE ORGANIZED AN ONLINE SURVEY TO GATHER DATA ABOUT THE IMPACT OF ANTI-ASIAN VIOLENCE AND BEGAN DISTRIBUTING SAFETY TOOLS TO MEMBERS. WE CONDUCTED ANOTHER SURVEY OF POTENTIAL EWF RECIPIENTS TO INFORM OUR OUTREACH AND ASSISTANCE WORK IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR. NORTH STAR FUNDTHIS IS FOR GENERAL SUPPORT SO THERE ARE NO SPECIFIC PROGRAM DELIVERABLES OR ACHIEVEMENTS. THESE FUNDS SUPPORT OUR ANTI-TRAFFICKING CAMPAIGN, TRAFFICKING VICTIMS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, BASE BUILDING & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT. HEALING JUSTICE FUNDTHIS FUNDING SUPPORTED STAFF WELLNESS AND SELF-CARE TO STRENGTHEN THE STAFFS BODY AND IMMUNE SYSTEM TO HELP PREVENT COVID SUCH AS BASIC ACUPUNCTURE, HEALING CIRCLES AND GROUP THERAPY SESSIONS. RADFUNDTHIS IS FOR GENERAL SUPPORT SO THERE ARE NO SPECIFIC PROGRAM DELIVERABLES OR ACHIEVEMENTS TO REPORT.EXCLUDED WORKER COALITIONIN 2021, DAMAYAN STAFF ATTENDED BI-WEEKLY MEETINGS WITH THE FUND EXCLUDED WORKERS COALITION. DAMAYAN STAFF AND MEMBERS ALSO PARTICIPATED IN COMMUNITY EVENTS AND DEMONSTRATIONS WITH THE COALITION. NYF SMALL GRANTTHIS SUPPORTED OUR EMERGENCY CASH ASSISTANCE WORK AND OUTREACH DURING THE EARLY MONTHS OF THE YEAR, AS WELL AS THE PRODUCTION OF OUR THREE ANTI-TRAFFICKING VIDEOS FOR OUR BAKLAS CAMPAIGN. LASTLY, WE WERE ABLE TO SEND NEW STAFF MEMBERS TO ATTEND DATABASE TRAININGS.TVAPWE DISTRIBUTED DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO 20 LABOR-TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS AND CONNECTED THEM TO MENTAL HEALTH AND OTHER SOCIAL SERVICES. EXCLUDED WORKERS FUNDWE DID OUTREACHED TO OVER 2000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND PROVIDED ASSISTANCE FOR THE EWF APPLICATION TO OVER 360 COMMUNITY MEMBERS. AT LEAST 193 OF THESE APPLICANTS WERE APPROVED FOR A TOTAL OF $3.01 MILLION FOR THE COMMUNITY. COMMUNITY RESILIENCE FUNDTHIS FUNDING SUPPORTED OUTREACH, TRANSPORTATION, MAILING, AND DISTRIBUTION OF DAMAYAN CARE PACKAGES, PPES AND EMERGENCY CASH ASSISTANCE THROUGH DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERIES AND IN-PERSON COMMUNITY DISTRIBUTION EVENTS. NDWA-HISTORY-1WITH THIS FUNDING, DAMAYAN ORGANIZED A MULTI-PART POLITICAL EDUCATION SERIES USING THE NDWA WE MAKE HISTORY CURRICULUM THAT WAS COMPLETED IN MID-2022 TO A COHORT OF DOMESTIC WORKERS. NDWA-BASE BUILDINGIN 2021, DAMAYAN OUTREACHED OVER 2000 COMMUNITY WORKERS THROUGH MASS TEXTS, PHONE CALLS, FLYERING, AND SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS. OF THOSE MORE THAN 2000, DAMAYAN ADDED 650 NEW CONTACTS, 365 NEW MEMBERS, AND 85 MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS. NDWA-BEYOND SURVIVALIN 2021, DAMAYAN IDENTIFIED NEW SURVIVORS AND ASSISTED A LIST OF 20 SURVIVORS WITH ONGOING CASES. WE ENGAGED THESE SURVIVORS IN MONTHLY MEMBERS MEETINGS, AND BI-MONTHLY KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TRAININGS
