OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PRIMARY MEDICAL TREATMENT TO PERSONS REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY AND SERVE AS A REFERRAL RESOURCE FOR THE COMMUNITY AND OTHER SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND INTEREST IN THE MISSION OF THE BRATTLEBORO WALK-LN CLINIC TO PROVIDE PRIMARY MEDICAL TREATMENT TO PERSONS AGES 18-64 IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO DO NOT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE OR CANNOT AFFORD THEIR HIGH DEDUCTIBLE OR CO-INSURANCE. THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS AFFECTED MANY DURING THE COURSE OF 2020. MOST EVERYONE HAS HAD TO MAKE CHANGES IN THEIR OTHERWISE NORMAL LIFE AND DAILY ACTIVITIES. THE BRATTLEBORO WALK-IN CLINIC WAS NO DIFFERENT. OUR BOARD CHOSE TO CLOSE OPERATIONS IN MARCH BECAUSE OF CONCERNS OF BOTH STAFF AND PATIENT SAFETY RELATED TO COVID-19. THIS WAS NOT AN EASY DECISION FOR US TO MAKE AS WE REALIZE MANY IN THE COMMUNITY RELY ON OUR SERVICES AND THERE MAY BE NEW PEOPLE SEEKING SERVICES BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC.SINCE CLOSING, DR. TORTOLANI AND OUR ADMINISTRATOR, JEANNE SEYMOUR HAVE REMAINED IN CONTACT WITH EXISTING CLIENTS THAT HAVE BEEN SEEN BEFORE AT THE BRATTLEBORO WALK-IN CLINIC AND HAVE CONTACTED US VIA E-MAIL OR PHONE. MOST ISSUES HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED SUCCESSFULLY AND THOSE THAT NEED TO BE SEEN BY A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER ARE REFERRED TO SEEK OTHER OPTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE IN THE COMMUNITY.WE LOOK FORWARD TO RE-OPENING THE CLINIC SOMETIME IN 2021 WHEN WE FEEL CONFIDENT THAT BOTH STAFF AND OUR PATIENTS CAN BE SEEN IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT IN REGARDS TO COVID- 19.
