IN 2021, GREEN BAY NEIGHBORHOODS CONTINUED TO FOCUS ON HELPING MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS SURVIVE THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC AND ITS FORCED ISOLATION OF NEIGHBORS. WE CONDUCTED ONLINE WORKSHOPS TO HELP GROUPS PLAN VIRTUAL EVENTS AND SAFE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. IN 2021, GREEN BAY NEIGHBORHOODS AWARED MINIGRANTS TO SEVEN DIFFERENT NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS FOR EVENTS, SIGNAGE, BOOKS FOR NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN, AND OTHERS. NINE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS RECEIVED OPERATING GRANTS OR START-UP GRANTS TO HELP SUSTAIN THEIR OPERATIONS. THESE OPERATING GRANTS ARE PART OF A STRATEGY TO HELP NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS DEVELOP FUNDRAISING SKILLS. IN ADDITION, THE OPERATING GRANTS HELP ENSURE CONTINUING COMMUNICATION AMOUNG ASSOCIATION MEMBERS VIA NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTION.
