PAYMENT OF TAXES ON DONATED PARCELS.
IN 16 YEARS OF EXISTENCE, PLC HAS INITIATED THE PURCHASE OR DONATION OF THOUSANDS OF ACRES OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LANDS WHICH ARE BEING MANAGED AS WILDLIFE CORIDORS, NEIGHBORHOOD NATURE PARKS, AND HABITAT FOR IMPERILED PLANTS AND ANIMAL SPECIES. A SMALL NUMBER OF PARCELS WITH LIMITED CONSERVATION VALUE ARE USED FOR SALES TO FUND OPERATIONS. PLC PARTNERS WITH OTHER PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS TO COORDINATE LAND MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTE PUBLIC USE OF CONSERVATION LANDS.
