FURNITURE FRIENDS PROVIDES DONATED FURNITURE TO PEOPLE IN NEED THROUGHOUT GREATER PORTLAND. ALTHOUGH DEMAND FOR FURNITURE OUTPACES OUR CAPACITY, WE HAVE MANAGED TO MAINTAIN AND REFINE OUR OPERATIONS THROUGH THE YEARS WITH A SMALL STAFF THAT EFFECTIVELY UTILIZES VOLUNTEER AND FURNITURE RESOURCES AVAILABLE IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY. IN 2021, OUR SMALL STAFF MANAGED TO PROVIDE NECESSARY HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE TO A RECORD 731 LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHILE CONTINUING TO OPERATE IN A GLOBAL PANDEMIC.
