Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

NEURO ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO ASSISTING SPINAL CORD INJURED AND DISABLED INDIVIDUALS IN THE GREATER DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA TO ACHIEVE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND MOBILITY THROUGH ASSISTIVE VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, TECHNOLOGY, AND HOME MODIFICATIONS.

FSA SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING CAREERS AND DEVELOPING COMMUNITY LEADERS FOR THE RETAIL FOOD INDUSTRY BY ANNUALLY REWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND ADULTS WORKING IN TEXAS FOOD STORES. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE FUNDED THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL RETAILERS AND THROUGH SPECIAL EVENTS SPONSORED BY THE FSA SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION I.E. PARTNERSHIP LUNCHEONS ANNUAL SCHOALRSHIP BANQUET AND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
