THERAPEUTIC RIDING: TR TEACHES RIDING AND HORSEMANSHIP SKILLS IN A SAFE AND MOTIVATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. CLASSES ARE TAUGHT BY PATH, INTL. CERTIFIED THERAPEUTIC RIDING INSTRUCTORS. WE PROVIDE THIS TYPE OF EQUINE ASSISTED SERVICE TO CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND VETERANS WITH PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND EMOTIONAL DISABILITIES. TR PROVIDES MANY BENEFITS TO OUR RIDERS; IT ALLOWS THE RIDER TO DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS OF PROBLEM SOLVING, THE ABILITY TO STAY ON TASK, INCREASES FLEXIBILITY, DEVELOPS BALANCE, INCREASES FINE AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS, PROMOTES STRENGTH, AND BOOSTS SELF-ESTEEM AND SELF-CONFIDENCE.
