THE MISSION OF THE MANCOS RURAL WATER COMPANY IS TO FURNISH POTABLE WATER AND RELATED SERVICES TO MEMBERS LOCATED IN THE MANCOS VALLEY SURROUNDING THE TOWN OF MANCOS, COLORADO.

FROM THE ALLOCATION OF AID, THE PARK WAS ABLE TO IMPLEMENT AND PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF PROJECTS, EVENTS, AND TRAININGS. MEETING AND TRAVEL EXPENSES, AS WELL AS, STIPENDS AND HOUSING FOR INTERNS, WERE PROVIDED FOR THE COLLABORATIVE CHAPIN MESA MUSEUM EXHIBIT PROJECT. NEW EPISODES OF THE MESA VERDE VOICES PODCAST WERE RECORDED AND MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. SEVERAL RESOURCE PROJECTS WERE SUPPORTED INCLUDING; WORK TOWARDS AN INTERNATIONAL DARK SKY PARK APPLICATION AND, AN ORAL HISTORY PROJECT TO PRESERVE THE WORK OF THE CIVILIAN CONSERVATION CORPS.

NON-DENOMINATIONAL SUMMER CAMP WITH PROGRAMS SERVICING YOUTH AGES 5 TO 18

TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE CULTURAL, HISTORICAL, RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE ASSETS OF THE MANCOS VALLEY.
