THE MISSION OF THE MANCOS RURAL WATER COMPANY IS TO FURNISH POTABLE WATER AND RELATED SERVICES TO MEMBERS LOCATED IN THE MANCOS VALLEY SURROUNDING THE TOWN OF MANCOS, COLORADO.

Part 3 - Line 4a
DURING 2023 MANCOS RURAL WATER COMPANY SOLD 4 NEW MEMBERSHIPS, MAKING THE TOTAL MEMBERS EQUAL TO 707, 79 OF WHICH ARE INACTIVE (METER NOT INSTALLED). THE COMPANY ALSO INSTALLED 15 NEW METERS AND CONDUCTED WATER QUALITY TESTING REQUIRED BY THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. IN ADDITION, 23 REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE SYSTEM WITH 10 BEING SCHEDULED AND 13 BEING EMERGENCIES. FINALLY, STORAGE TANKS WERE MONITORED FOR PHYSICAL INTEGRITY; THEY ARE IN THE THIRD YEAR OF A FIVE YEAR MAINTENANCE PROGRAM.
