THE SUPPORTS ARE INDIVIDULIZED AND CAN INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO CHOICES IN HEALTH AND MEDCAL CARE PERSONNEL, SCHOOL EMPLOYMENT,MONEY MANAGEMENT, PERSONAL SUPPORT AIDE FOR ACTIVITIES OF DAILYLIVING, NUTRITIONAL STANDARDS, RECREATION AND LESSURE ACTIVITIES, AND SPECILIZED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SERVICES.

TELACU HOUSING - COMMERCE II, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 24 UNIT COMMUNITY KNOWN AS TELACU GARDENS LOCATED IN THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, WHICH PROVIDES HOUSING FOR THE HANDICAPPED. THE CORPORATION RECEIVES HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 811 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED.

OUR MISSION HAS NOT CHANGED BUT WE IMPROVED OUR PROGRAMMING TO INCREASE IMPACT ON OUR MISSION, THROUGH INCREASED ACTION, EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT. IN 2021, WE WERE ABLE TO EXPAND VITAL REGIONAL INITIATIVES INCLUDING OUR WILDFIRE DEFENSE EDUCATION AND TOURS, OUR SUSTAINABILITY FUNDAMENTALS EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS, NET ZERO ACCELERATOR, AND WORKFORCE-DIRECTED GREEN BUILDING CORPS WHILE DIRECTLY ENGAGING MORE THAN 15,000 PEOPLE ACROSS OUR PROGRAMMING. NEW INITIATIVES LAUNCHED IN 2021 INCLUDE THE GREEN AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAM AND THE ELECTRIFIED CONSTRUCTION COALITION.
