PLSOS PRIMARY MISSION IS TO UNITE ALL LICENSED LAND SURVEYORS IN THE STATE OF OREGON TO PROMOTE LEGISLATION AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE PROFESSIONAL STATUS OF OREGON LAND SURVEYORS AND TO ADVANCE THE PROFESSION OF LAND SURVEYING BY PROMOTING HIGH STANDARDS.

THE NORTHWEST CENTER FOR ALTERNATIVES TO PESTICIDES ADVANCES ALTERNATIVES TO PESTICIDES WHILE HIGHLIGHTING THE PROBLEMS WITH PESTICIDE USE. THROUGH RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS, TRAINING AND EDUCATION, AND OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY WE HELP CREATE POLICIES AND PRACTICES THAT RESULT IN MORE ECOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO PEST PROBLEMS

MISSION:

CLEAN WATER INSTITUTE SEEKS TO ADVANCE WATERSHED RESTORATION AND RESOURCE RECOVERY THROUGH INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES AND TO PROMOTE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACTIVITIES THAT BENEFIT WATERSHEDS AROUND THE WORLD. IT HAS THE CAPACITY TO CONVENE AND FACILITATE PROJECTS FOCUSED ON EDUCATION, RESTORATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION.

TO ADVANCE WATCHABLE WILDLIFE BY DEVELOPING, IMPROVING, MAINTAINING ACTIVE OUTDOOR OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDY, OBSERVE, AND ENJOY THOSE SPECIES OF FLORA AND FAUNA AND THEIR HABITATS THAT ARE GENERALLY NOT HUNTED OR FISHED IN THE STATE OF OREGON AND ALL ANCILLARY PURPOSES.

The goal of this organization is to ensure that communities have a clean and healthful environment that is free from air and water pollution, pesticides and other hazardous substances, damaging radiation and excessive levels of noise.

THE OREGON LEAGUE OF CONSERVATION VOTERS EDUCATION FUND WORKS TO GIVE OREGONIANS THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THEY NEED TO BE EFFECTIVE ADVOCATES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. BY COORDINATING THE STATEWIDE OREGON CONSERVATION NETWORK, A COALITION OF MORE THAN FORTY ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, THE OLCV-EF ALSO SETS THE AGENDA FOR THE ENTIRE ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNITY.

Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.
