The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect endangered land resources from indiscriminate development, destruction or decay and which manage the utilization of renewable and nonrenewable resources to ensure ongoing availability. Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

MISSION:

ORENDA WILDLIFE LAND TRUST PROTECTS WILDLIFE AND WILDLIFE HABITAT. ORENDA ACQUIRES LAND TO BE HELD IN PERPETUITY AS PROTECTED WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES, AND ASSISTS OTHERS IN PROTECTING OPEN SPACE FOR WILDLIFE.

THE SOUTHEASTERN CAVE CONSERVANCY, INC (SCCI) MISSION IS TO CONSERVE CAVES TO PRESERVE AREAS OF SCENIC BEAUTY, PROVIDE RECREATIONAL ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITIES, PROTECT CULTURAL AND BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES, AND SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH.

OTSEGO LAND TRUST CONSERVES OUR REGION'S NATURAL HERITAGE OF WOODLANDS, FARMLANDS AND WATERS THAT SUSTAIN RURAL COMMUNITIES, PROMOTE PUBLIC HEALTH, SUPPORT WILDLIFE DIVERSITY AND INSPIRE THE HUMAN SPIRIT.

TO PROTECT ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE LAND THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL SAVANNAH RIVER BASIN THROUGH THE USE OF PERMANENT CONSERVATION EASEMENTS AND LAND ACQUISITIONS. ALSO TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON CONSERVATION RELATED TOPICS.
